Yes, there really is a house in these bushes!

The abandoned house which dates to around 1900 has not been occupied in the past 30+ years.

Where it sits in about the middle of the farm field it does not occupy the premiere building location on the water.

Discussions are underway with the owners to sell this house for a small additional amount.

Because of the poor condition of the addition to the original house, a buyer might want to remove the addition and start with a new addition.  From my inspection of the house, ground hogs had been able to destroy the foundation of the addition and the floor in the addition is breaking through.

The upstairs ceilings and at least one downstairs room of the original house are falling off, which might be a benefit to allow you to install new systems in the house and raise the interior ceiling height to roof line.
Although it might be too far gone, romantically this would be a lovely guest cottage, shop or just let it continue being overtaken by Mother Nature!

The house does have a well and septic.  The condition are unknown and there would be no guarantees made if the house is sold to the purchaser of the land.  This is a photo of the top of the well.

below is a photo of the entrance to the front of the house.  The tree down towards the left tumbled in Hurricane Isabell.  Paper Mulberry trees have really overtaken the formerly charming yard or pump.
