I, for one, like the grassy wetland because itís raw nature.
When you look that way and farther to the right, you see just water and trees.
Hard to find that.

Since what I really like is the rare, natural beauty of the space,
Iíd recommend (to serious property shoppers)
increasing the part of the land that grows wild.
Mow a small lawn around the house and
just let the rest of whatís there grow wild like the wetlands.
Tuck in a few wildflowers like black-eyed susans and let them spread among the grasses.
Mow a few paths through it. Have someone bush-hog it once a year.

Iíd also put in a couple of trees near the house site asap,
as big as can be moved, to provide shade.
Willow oaks grow really fast and do very well on the Northern Neck.
Great shade tree.

Cross Rt. 354, and continue on Morattico Road.
Turn right onto Ivey Creek Road.
