SELLER'S IDEAS
FOR WORKING WITH NATURE AND THE SITE
(cost effective, ecological and serene)
If you put in the t-shaped pier you could sit
on the end with a glass of wine at the end of the day
and watch the sun go down. That really appealed
to me!
It’s almost surrounded by water.
I liked the strip of very private sandy beach
that you could put a beach chair on and read all day.
You wouldn’t see anyone and no one would see
you.
I, for one, like the grassy wetland because
it’s raw nature.
When you look that way and farther to the
right, you see just water and trees.
Hard to find that.
Since what I really like is the rare, natural
beauty of the space,
I’d recommend (to serious property shoppers)
increasing the part of the land that grows
wild.
Mow a small lawn around the house and
just let the rest of what’s there grow wild
like the wetlands.
Tuck in a few wildflowers like black-eyed
susans and let them spread among the grasses.
Mow a few paths through it. Have someone bush-hog
it once a year.
I’d also put in a couple of trees near the
house site asap,
as big as can be moved, to provide shade.
Willow oaks grow really fast and do very well
on the Northern Neck.
Great shade tree.

Turn right onto Hale Drive to end of road.

I tried to stand in one place and pivot but you
can see from the clouds that it isn't quite right but gives you an idea
of how much waterfront you see!

These are closer shots of the point.
Tree down at shore on left shall be removed although
it provides excellent cover for wildlife.
